Ralph Waldo Emerson once said, “Only so much do I know, as I have lived.”
Each day, we face challenges. Everyday perceptions change, understanding grows, and lessons are learned… at least that is the hope. Here on these digital pages of posts of meandering thoughts are some of the experiences which I have survived through, or dare I say where I have thrived?
I believe that experience is a grand measure of life. It is not merely the experience that defines life, but the lessons learned that the experience imparts that define us. I have experienced many extraordinary and life-changing events in my life. Some dramatic, and some very subtle. Some profoundly influential, and others some might call foolish. I echo the words of Winston Churchill, who so eloquently stated,“The greatest lesson in life is to know that even fools are sometimes right.”
So whether you count me as a fool or as a fellow, it is my greatest desire that you find in these digital pages some measure of help, comfort, growth, or enlightenment along your journey. For correct or not, perception prevails, as I merely attempt to share some of the lessons of my life learned the hard way.
Thank you for joining me on this exciting journey into the depths of reality, perception, truth, and heartache.
